My work is a quiet conversation between the soul and the natural world. I paint the living things that so often go unnoticed — the crown shyness of forest canopies, the bright geometry of a flock gathered at the water’s edge, the scarlet intelligence of a macaw in the canopy. Each painting begins with close observation and grows into a dialogue about presence, kinship, and the small acts of attention that bind us to place.

Working in oil, acrylic and watercolor on paper and canvas, I am drawn to the textures and rhythms of the natural world — the layered greens of foliage, the warmth of earth and feather, the play of light across water and leaf. The joy of silent belongingness in nature and the overwhelming gratitude of its existence. In everything, there is a quiet conversation and a story that evokes emotions of peace, inspiration and gratitude.

I am now moving into oil on a larger scale — toward gallery-level canvases that allow these intimate observations to become immersive.

My goal is to create work that invites viewers to slow down, to look closely, and to feel their own belonging within the natural world.

As a self-taught artist and a children’s book author-illustrator, I believe art’s deepest purpose is to awaken wonder and care for the living world we share.

I hope you find an art that resonates with you and inspire you.

Thank you for visiting!
